MEET THE BAND

Formed in 2025 in San Diego, KICKBACK is a five-piece indie band with Cam, Marcello, Orion, Wyatt, and Zane that turned a one-off Battle of the Bands set into a full-time project. The name itself even started as a joke in the original groupchat but became a throwaway line that stuck. What began as a ripped-together competitive set quickly revealed a rare chemistry as the members found themselves finishing each other’s riffs and writing songs between shows.

Currently writing and recording, KICKBACK has released their first wave of songs and hit Southern California stages including SOMA and Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre. Opening for various artists such as YG, The Grinns, and Rangoo. Fans of guitar-forward indie and catchy lyrics should pay attention: these are songs you’ll replay on late-night drives and sing at the top of your lungs the next time they’re onstage.
